Blue Water Shipping is the latest global company to call Essendon Fields home, moving into Suite 2, Level 1, 30 English Street.

The new office space for international Energy & Project Logistics Specialist Blue Water Shipping, is located on the first-floor of the offices that form part of the Essendon Fields Central retail complex.

The company says the decision to seek an office base at Essendon Fields, to complement its offices in other capital cities around Australia, reflects the opportunities for growth in Victoria and Tasmania as well as the benefits to bring what is expected to a growing team – everything you need in one place in a location best suited to the company.

Rebecca Peat, Senior Business Development Manager – Project Logistics at Blue Water Shipping, said Essendon Fields stood out when it came to be selecting the new office space.

“When we were looking for a location to set up in Melbourne we were attracted to Essendon Fields. We didn’t want to go to where traditionally logistics firms have gone like Melbourne Airport or other places nearby like Airport West. However we did want to be close to the airport because we’ll be having plenty of interstate/international visitors and just loved the nice, new, fresh feel of Essendon Fields. The other advantage is that Essendon Fields has everything on its door step like dining or shopping options as well as a hotel for guests to stay,’’ Rebecca said.

Rebecca has worked in the logistics industry for almost 27 years, but has never been more excited for the future, especially moving into a new Melbourne office and a growing realisation in business of the importance of supply-chain logistics in the post pandemic world.

“This is the first time we’ve been based at Essendon Fields and we’re looking forward to being a tenant. We’re very excited about the opportunities surrounding being based in such a connected location. We’re a global company that only kicked off AU operations in June 2021, and has seen large growth over a short period of time – and we’re not finished yet!” Rebecca said.
