Community Update: COVID-19 Safety Advice

Last updated Monday 27 June, 2022 at 9:10am

NOTICE FOR ALL PASSENGERS

In accordance with current Victorian Government advice, face masks are no longer required within our main airport terminal, but must still be worn on board flights, except in circumstances where passengers are exempt, or while eating and drinking.

Essendon Airport encourages its stakeholders to stay up to date on the current Department of Health travel requirements as they apply to any interstate arrivals and departures.

Please help slow the spread of COVID-19 by monitoring for symptoms, practising good personal hygiene, and do not travel if you are unwell.

EXTRA STEPS WE ARE TAKING:

Frequent and thorough cleaning of our public amenities and common areas remains in place. This includes disinfection of touch points such as door handles, handrails, lift buttons and push plates in office buildings, public toilets, and our airport terminal passenger areas.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:

We encourage our tenants, customers and visitors to monitor their health, observe social distancing and personal hygiene best practice, and take precautions consistent with health authority advice and regulations.

SUPPORTING LOCAL BUSINESS

Government measures and the affects of the pandemic have affected trading for almost all businesses.  Many onsite businesses were required to alter or temporarily cease operations to ensure the safety of both employees and the community, and the impact on these companies is ongoing.

We continue to support our local businesses and hope that you can too.

We will keep informing you of any important updates to Essendon Fields operations and remain committed to doing everything we can to ensure the health and safety of our community at all times.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact askme@ef.com.au.

Sincerely,

The Essendon Fields team
