English Street Green Upgrade

You may have noticed that the pocket park on English Street opposite EF Central– The English Street Green – has been temporarily blocked off. This is to prepare for works which will see a stunning water feature added to enhance the space.

This green square is a natural meeting spot for workers and when the fountain is complete it will add to the charm of this outdoor hub.

Stretching 20 metres, this new fountain will be built by our award-winning onsite landscapers, Super Gardens. The fountain will hold approximately 2,000 litres which will be treated and recirculated while the fountain is operating. The fountain will also have smart switches installed for the operation and an automatic shutoff/restart based on wind speed to reduce water loss through drift. Works will commence shortly, and the project is expected to take approximately two months to complete.

While works for the water feature are carried out Active Utilities, our embedded networks provider, will also be adding connections for wi-fi access and charging ports. The free wi-fi will enable outdoor working for all staff and visitors to enjoy and will be the first of its kind in an Australian business park.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the works and encourage you to enjoy the outdoor seating located behind 7 English Street while English Street Green is out of use.

We’ll be posting regular updates of the works on our social channels so make sure you’re following @essendonfields on Facebook and Instagram.
