New Direct Flights Melbourne to Griffith

Essendon Fields Airport will be the gateway for a new, convenient, direct flight service between Melbourne and the regional NSW city of Griffith operated by highly respected regional carrier Sharp Airlines.

Sharp Airlines distribution partner EastWest Airlines will operate a daily service (excluding Saturdays) to assist business and leisure travellers wishing to travel between Melbourne and Griffith on a one-hour flight to avoid costly and lengthy flight connections in Sydney or drives taking more than five hours.

Griffith is a fast growing regional centre with a burgeoning agribusiness sector that has strong links to Melbourne based businesses and there is also growing interest from Melbourne travellers attracted by the NSW Riverina region as a short-break destination.
