Since July 2019, Sharp Airlines have operated a limited scheduled service between Essendon Fields Airport and Griffith, New South Wales, in collaboration with partner East West Airlines.

These services were recognised as part of the Regional Airline Network Support programme, funded by the Federal Government. With the scheme coming to an end, Sharp Airlines will cease flights between Essendon Fields Airport and Griffith from 1 April, 2022.

Existing Essendon Fields Airport connections by Sharp Airlines to King Island and Flinders Island, alongside Link Airways flights to Shellharbour (Wollongong), Dubbo and Orange, remain unchanged.
