Two Minutes Turkish to open in EF Central

Essendon Fields will welcome its newest eatery, Two Minutes Turkish on Friday 26 April, adding to the growing list of quality dining options in the precinct. The new café will serve an array of Turkish cuisine with a homestyle flair in their new space at Essendon Fields Central, just next door to our local post office.

Owner Adem Karahan and his mother, Filiz, are no strangers to the hospitality industry. Having owned and operated several successful businesses in the CBD, the duo are looking forward to providing the EF community with delicious meals and exceptional coffee. The pair are excited to be operating out of Essendon Fields, being locals to the area themselves they are looking forward to spending less time on the road travelling to and from work.

“We’ve been busily preparing for the grand opening and will be putting on something special to kick off trading at EF,” Adem said.

The team is all about doing things differently, using Instagram to promote the business (follow them @twominsturkish) and to find the local Turkish street artist that created the iconic “simitci” figure artwork for their café walls.

“Two Minutes Turkish is all about good food and coffee with a family feel and we can’t wait to meet you all soon,” Adem concluded.
