Helping Hands Festive Food Drive + Fundraising Biscuit Sales
This festive season, your donation can fill a pantry and a heart.
For some many of the families who visit Helping Hands Community Pantries, putting food on the table is already a struggle – and those little extras that make Christmas Day feel magical are often out of reach.
This Christmas, help make local families celebrations extra special by donating festive treats and Christmas table goodies. The Helping Hands team will be at Essendon Fields Central on Thursday 4 December between 10.30am and 1.30pm to collect your donations. They’ll also be selling their tasty fundraising biscuits on the day – that will have a festive twist!
Festive Treats You Can Give:
- Shortbread biscuits
- Gingerbread houses
- Chocolate stockings
- Candy canes
- Christmas puddings
- Christmas-themed chocolates
- Cookies
- Christmas bon-bons
- Chips and savoury nibbles
- and of course, any special festive treats that you and your family love to enjoy at Christmas – we’d love to share them with families in need!
Because every family deserves something special on Christmas Day.
We kindly ask that all food donations be non-perishable, meaning they can be stored at room temperature for a long time without spoiling.
Can’t make it on Thursday 10 December? You can still give the gift of kindness and drop your festive food donations directly to Helping Hands Airport West, 14 McIntosh Street, Airport West.
