KSB Australia moves into Bell Business Centre at EF

Essendon Fields welcomes KSB, Australia’s leading manufacturer of pumps, valves and water systems, as one of the first tenants to move into the new Bell Business Centre.

With a rich history and reputation for excellence, they have a natural affinity with the historic surroundings of Melbourne’s first ever international airport terminal building at Essendon Fields, which now boasts a state-of-the-art office space after a multi-million dollar investment.

The German company was founded in 1871 in Frankenthal and has been one of the leading suppliers of pumps and industrial valves for over 150 years. With more than 15,000 employees worldwide, KSB develops and produces custom-fit pumps for various applications.

KSB have moved into G18 at the Bell Business Centre, a 62sqm office space on a three year deal. In total five staff will operate out of the office, which will service its clients across Melbourne for sales and engineering.

Of course Essendon Fields has its own rich history, celebrating the Airports centenary last year, and the refurbished terminal building was the home for every major aviation event in Melbourne for much of the 20th Century.

KSB Australia’s Managing Director Dave Alexander said the decision to move into the Bell Business Centre was an easy one for the company;

“We’re so happy with the new Victorian sales office located at Essendon Fields. The location is key as it’s very close to Melbourne Airport for travel, as well as the major arterial roads allowing easy access to the rest of Melbourne. The amenities at Essendon Fields are also excellent like the Hyatt Place hotel and events space, plus the shared amenity meeting and boardroom space created within the Bell Business Centre is first class,’’ he said.

“The new office at the Bell Business Centre will be our base for Melbourne and as we continue to grow as a company we’ll look to take up more office space in the future,’’ Mr Alexander said.
