Dutton One celebrates opening at EF with community event

The ever expanding and successful Essendon Fields Auto precinct has welcomed its newest dealership, Dutton One, and the exciting brand for pre-owned prestige vehicles has celebrated their arrival with a community event on Thursday 6 June, which included a few stars from the Essendon Football Club, such as Jobe Watson, captain Zach Merrett and Mason Redman.

Project partners were also in attendance to celebrate the opening of the 2,044 sqm facility, including leasing partner CBRE, builders H. Troon, development manager Legacy Project Management, and the Essendon Fields project team.

Dutton One Dealer Principal Jai Patel said the event was a great success and was start of a process of meeting all the Essendon Fields’ community and the dealership’s new neighbours.

The community event welcomed guests with non-alcoholic drinks and some tasty bites from LaManna Melbourne and Friction café to help them all finish their working day in style and was warmly received by all those who attended.

“We’re delighted to officially open our amazing new Dutton One dealership at Essendon Fields. We know that car buyers love flocking to EF Auto for the convenience and range and that’s certainly what Dutton One offer in the pre-owned prestige market,’’ said Mr Patel.

“Dutton One at Essendon Fields we know will be a great success, with its prominent location on Lionel Street and visibility from the Tullamarine freeway which attracts more than three million cars each month. We can already see the benefits of being part of the Essendon Fields community, not just for the people who visit EF Auto from Melbourne’s north-west, but for the thousands of people who work here every day, who run their own successful businesses and love the environment in which they work,’’ he said.

Essendon Fields GM Development Peter Funder said that the newly constructed Dutton One dealership provides a great customer experience with its natural light and space.

“The Dutton One dealership adds to the auto mall concept at Essendon Fields, which we know is best for both dealers and consumers alike. Deloitte research shows that car buying customers are happy to travel up to 45 minutes to find the make and model car they are looking for at the best price possible. That equates to about four million people, or 80% of Melbourne’s population, who are willing to travel to EF Auto to grab their new set of wheels,’’ he said.

EF Auto currently consists of more than 20 different car brands on offer for the car buying public. The new Dutton One dealership is the 17th site for the brand in Australia and is set over 2044 sqm on Lionel Street at Essendon Fields.
