Essendon Fields Auto isn’t only the biggest single site for car dealerships in Australia – it might also be the most award winning as well.

In the last few months a string of the Essendon Fields based dealerships have picked up a swag of awards acknowledging their sales performance as well as customer support.

Essendon Volkswagen recently won Premium Dealer of the Year for 2023, where all Volkswagen dealerships across Australia are assessed against a range of criteria, including sales and after sales performance, customer and employee experience and marketing effectiveness.

Augusto Favrin, Dealer Principal at Essendon Volkswagen, said the dealership was proud to win the award which recognised another successful year, but importantly it showed Essendon Volkswagen continued to connect with its employees and customers.

Essendon BMW & Mini Garage was awarded the BMW Metro Dealer of the Year and MINI Excellence Award for 2023.

Dealer Principal Michael Baker said to pick up these two awards in such a highly competitive market was a testament to the team.

“As we reflect on this achievement, we’re reminded of our commitment to excellence and dedication to providing the best service and experience possible,” said Mr Baker.

Subaru Essendon was also awarded as the Melbourne region winner of the 2023 Subaru Financial Services Retailer of the Year awards. Success in the Financial Services Retailer of the Year acknowledges the Retailers dedication to supporting the Subaru customers journey through the provision of Subaru Financial Services.

Richard Youl, General Manager of sales accepted the award for the site.

“These awards celebrate outstanding commitment to excellence and consistency in delivering exceptional experiences to our Subaru customers,” said Mr Youl.

Another major winner was Airport Toyota, which is located at 355 Wiraway Road, Essendon Fields. The Toyota SRO Awards Night is the ‘Southern Region Dealer Of The Year’ and was recently hosted by Toyota Australia at Crown in Melbourne. Airport Toyota picked up seven major awards at the event, spanning its new and used sales team, service, marketing as well as parts departments.

Airport Toyota dealer principal Pasquale Scaturchio congratulated his whole team on the dealership’s ongoing success being recognised across the board by Toyota Australia.

Essendon Mazda has also earned multiple placements in both the Mazda Guild and the prestigious 2023 Mazda Awards at Mazda Australia Pty Ltd. This esteemed recognition is reserved for those who consistently excel in sales, customer satisfaction, and product knowledge, reflecting their dedication and expertise.

Essendon Fields CEO Brendan Pihan said it was a great accomplishment for so many dealers at Essendon Fields Auto to continue to receive awards, illustrating the drive to excellence which makes this auto mall concept such a success.
