Essendon Fields new home for outdoor adventure
As Melbourne’s weather improves and restrictions ease, so too do options for outdoor recreational activities. And just in time, Essendon Fields welcomes a new home for jet skis, off-road buggies and Spyder motorcycles.
The location of personal watercraft dealer Sea-Doo and off-road as well as Spyder motorcycles retailer Cam-An, has moved from 99 Bulla Road across to 300 Wirraway Road, to join the ever-expanding Essendon Fields Auto precinct.
The new major showroom, approximately 1,673 square meters in size and once housing IDOM’s Chrysler Jeep Dodge, has been reimagined. Now split into two dealerships, Sea-Doo and Cam-An will take one half, with IDOM continuing to occupy the other.
Sam Mosca, director of Sea-Doo and Cam-An Essendon Fields, says the move to a larger and more prominent site will allow the company to accommodate its operational and growth requirements, including the addition of an impressive new showroom as well as a more significant workshop.
“This move at Essendon Fields has been great for us. The new location provides easier access for customers, with two freeway entrances adjacent to EF Auto, and it’s a more central location. We’ve now got a much bigger space to showcase all the watercraft and off-road vehicles we sell and the customer response has been amazing,’’ he said.
“We are growing quickly and our employees over summer will grow from 12 – especially considering Victorians will be largely holidaying at home this year, so we think we’ll have a bumper Christmas and start to 2022. We sell a range of new and used BRP products including Sea-Doo jet skis, Can Am buggy’s and Spyder motorcycles. We also sell parts and accessories and have a workshop for all the servicing needs for these products,’’ Mr Mosca said.
Final development sites are now available in the EF Auto precinct. For these and other purpose built opportunities at Essendon Fields, please contact Peter Funder at pf@ef.com.au or 0437 689 915.
