VicRoads has opened a brand-new license testing centre at Essendon Fields, as part of a roll out of several new sites across Melbourne.

Due to the impacts of COVID-19, on two occasions in 2020 VicRoads had to suspend all licence testing in Victoria. The Victorian Government announced the re-opening of licence testing for new customer bookings across Melbourne from Monday 16 November, with the new site a critical component of their Return to Service planning.

The new VicRoads licensing centre is located at 2B/2C, 30 English St which may be remembered as Core Pharmacy‘s previous site (now located next to Fresh News Agency). With Essendon Fields able to offer a network of easy to navigate roads and carparks at their doorstep, the new site is assisting new drivers to get onto the road as quickly and safely as possible.
